BAOBAB & TSINGY WONDERS JOURNEY

ITINERARY (8 days)
Day 1: Our staff will welcome you at the Morondova Airport from your domestic Air Madagascar flight. We will transfer you to the hotel for check-in and then head to the Avenue of the Baobabs to take in the sunset before heading back to the hotel to relax.

Day 2: Early breakfast before we drive to Bekopaka (dirt road). If we leave the hotel very early, we can return to Avenue of the Baobabs en route for sunrise. The journey will take 8 to 10 hours depending on the two ferries we take. It is a total of 200 kilometers (124 miles) to reach our destination of the day.

​

Day 3: We will explore the Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park today which belongs to the UNESCO world heritage.

​

Day 4: This is another day to venture to other part of the Tsingy of Bemaraha.

​

Day 5: We return back the same way, and we will stop and stay in a lodge close to a RAMSAR site, a Wetland of International Importance especially as Waterfowl Habitat where we can enjoy another wonders of this part of the island. We will drive 106 kilometers (66 miles) today.

​

Day 6: Enjoy all activities suggested by the lodge such going on a canoe and see the way to do salt, strolling to the baobab of the place or going on birdwatching, doing nocturnal walk in order to see the mouse lemur.

​

Day 7: We continue today until Morondava (94 kilometers or 59 miles), but we will stop half way at Kirindy Reserve to spot lemurs, fossa, birds—all in the wild if we are lucky. We will enjoy once more the sunset at the Baobab Avenue before reaching our hotel.

Day 8: Transfer provided to the airport for your flight from Morondava Airport.
